Crowne Zoysia is an extremely versatile grass. It's a slow growing grass that requires little maintenance and is our most shade tolerant grass, so it can be used in full sun or mostly shady areas. It is also very drought and cold tolerant, helps prevent weed invasions, and is resistant to insects, such as the chinch bug. Crowne has good traffic tolerance and low nutritional needs. Crowne Zoysia was developed at Texas A&M in connection with the United States Golf Association. It is ideal for golf course fairways and makes a beautiful lawn.
